1. Free plan and cardless trials
The Free plan does not require payment. Eligible workspaces may start one paid-plan trial without entering a card. A cardless trial does not automatically create a subscription and nothing is charged automatically when it ends.
2. Paid subscriptions and renewals
Paid plans are recurring subscriptions processed by Paddle. The amount, applicable tax and payment method are shown by Paddle before you confirm checkout. Unless canceled, a monthly subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-applicable subscription price shown for your plan, subject to any notice required by law.
Paddle is RefillQR's Merchant of Record for paid transactions and is responsible for collecting payment, applicable taxes and issuing transaction documents.
3. Upgrades
When you upgrade between paid plans, RefillQR requests a live preview from Paddle before the change is confirmed. The preview shows the exact amount Paddle intends to charge now and the recurring price for the next billing period.
Where Paddle applies proration, unused value from the current paid plan may be credited against the higher plan for the remainder of the period. The upgrade becomes available after the payment succeeds.
4. Downgrades
A downgrade is normally scheduled for the next renewal date. Your current paid plan and its limits remain active through the period already paid for. The lower plan begins at renewal.
No refund or credit is created merely because you schedule a downgrade for the next billing period. Before renewal, keep workspace usage within the lower plan's limits so the transition can complete cleanly.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel a paid subscription through RefillQR billing controls or Paddle's customer portal. Unless the interface clearly states that cancellation is immediate, cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current paid period and no further renewal payment is scheduled.
After the paid period ends, RefillQR keeps workspace data but paid access and public QR scanning may be paused until the workspace starts an eligible plan again.
6. Refunds and withdrawal rights
Refund eligibility is determined under Paddle's current Refund Policy and applicable law, including any mandatory withdrawal or refund rights that cannot be waived. Canceling a subscription or scheduling a downgrade does not automatically create a refund or credit for unused time in the current billing period.
Because Paddle is the Merchant of Record, payment refunds are processed through Paddle. Requests can be submitted through Paddle buyer support and are handled under Paddle's current Refund Policy, together with any mandatory rights that apply to you.
If a billing error appears to have been caused by RefillQR plan-management logic, contact us as well so we can investigate the subscription state and, where appropriate, support the refund or correction process.
7. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, Paddle may retry the payment and ask you to update the payment method. During Paddle's recovery process, RefillQR may continue paid access while the subscription remains recoverable. If Paddle ultimately pauses or ends the subscription, RefillQR may pause paid features and QR scanning accordingly.
8. Taxes and currency
Prices shown by RefillQR are base subscription prices unless stated otherwise. Paddle calculates applicable taxes and presents the transaction total at checkout. The currency and available payment methods may depend on Paddle's checkout configuration and your location.
